Impact

The US Women’s National Team Players Association works to create positive advancement for its members on and off the field, and by extension the communities they play in. They use their platform to change the game in a variety of areas they are passionate about, including equal pay, economic justice, and access to sport. This work is done through player advocacy and partnerships with organizations that do this work on a local and global level.

Visa Partnership

On the world’s biggest stage, family and friends are key for the support of our members. That’s why we are proud to announce that Visa, along with Cash App and the USWNT Players Association, have created the Players Supporters Club, making an immediate impact for the players, their families and their friends.

The Players Supporters Club will provide financial resources to cover costs for their biggest supporters, aka their family and friends, to be there in New Zealand and Australia as they defend their FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Champion title.

Kiva Partnership

The USWNT Players are partnering with Kiva, an international nonprofit organization with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. By 2025, USWNTPA commits to deploying $2.5M in zero-fee, zero-interest loan capital to empower more than 400 small businesses through Kiva and the USWNT Player Impact Fund.

Through our work we seek to build a more inclusive and equitable community by providing micro loans to empower business owners where we live and play. Partnering with Kiva allows us to have a growing impact in supporting Economic Justice.

In honor of 50 years of Title IX, the filmmakers behind the feature documentary, LFG, are joining with us as an inaugural partner to the Friends of the USWNTPA Impact Fund for Kiva.
